It looks like the project of Verge (XVG) is not yet finished with the crypto world in terms of partnerships and announcements. Just yesterday, there were two new listings of the second leading digital currency – Ethereum, and this was reported on the Ethereum World News. Verge is now available on Bitbns.com and Gate.io for trading.
Another partnership to remember is the Pornhub partnership that made a lot of waves in the crypto-verse sometime in April. That partnership was later followed by the partnership of TrafficJunky with Verge, on May 4. Verge payments on the advertising platform will start functioning from Monday, May 7, 2018.
Partnership with Spotify
Presently, the campaign to make Spotify start accepting XVG as a payment means for Spotify subscriptions, is gathering a lot of momentum online, and it seems it has already gathered more than 3,000 votes on the webpage of Spotify community.
On the website, and where Verge Volunteer wit_sec_birb launched the request about 14 days ago, the post has more than 500 comments, and it is showing no stopping sign. This had made the idea of the partnership between Spotify and Verge a hot and trending topic on the Spotify Community.
Cees Van Dam’s Comment
Cees Van Dam (Europe marketing team member of Verge) said that the idea of the partnership is now marked as a very hot idea. He said people should keep voting and show them the power of the community. The Verge Volunteer also commented and said that they are very excited to announce their recent partnership with Mindgeek, a private company that operates and owns more than 85 percent of the adult entertainment apps and sites.
The Verge, Spotify partnership will improve the public visibility of not only Verge but the whole digital currency industry. For the crypto industry to grow larger, digital currencies need to be used as a means of payment.
