The news of the partnership came to light together with the listing of Travala’s AVA token being paired with BNB, the native token of Binance, on the DEX trading platform of Binance.
The DEX listings might be the number one interest of many traders. However, Travala has noted that the partnership with Booking.com would most likely have a huge impact on the adoption of digital currency as a means of payment for the wider population.

Booking.com is one of the biggest travel eCommerce firms in the world. The firm is part of Booking Holdings Inc., which is listed on NASDAQ with the ticker symbol BKNG. Any traveler that wants to access the inventory of Booking.com can now book their hotel accommodation via Travala. They can now make payments using debit and credit cards, PayPal, and the firm’s own digital currency along with several other digital currencies. The firm aims to make booking easier by providing its customers with a wide range of payment channels.
In a recent post, Travala said:
“We believe that the new partnership with Booking.com is a sign that we are close to seeing the industry’s acceptance of digital currencies as a standard form of payment for travel bookings.”
