Shortly after releasing the monthly 1 billion and 256 million XRP from its escrow wallet, Ripple sends 900 million XRP back to its escrow wallet. Often time, when it is reported that XRP releases a huge amount of XRP, the comment thread is usually filled with people speculating that Ripple is dumping the coins in the market and declining the price of the coin.
Currently, XRP is trading at $0.19, though several analysts have predicted that the coin may retest the $0.30 level, leaving the declining wedge pattern. After 900 million XRP was returned to Ripple’s escrow wallet, the XRP community has been seeking to know the fate of the remaining 100 million.
An XRP enthusiast Leonidas Hadjiloizou declares that from the beginning of February, Ripple will no longer release the entire 1billion XRP. He states that Ripple will be splitting the release into two parts monthly, 500 million XRP for each part of the month.

The senior software developer at Ripple, Evan Schwartz recently announced his resignation from the cryptocurrency company after working with the company for six and a half years. Schwartz took to his Twitter page to share this information, he went thus:

While at Ripple, Schwartz co-invented the Interledger protocol. The interledger protocol is an open suite protocol for linking ledgers and a payment solution that is at the foundation of Ripple’s vision of the internet-of-value.
The Senior Director, Global Operations and Strategic Partnerships at Ripple, Emi Yoshikawa, commended Evan for the massive influence he made at the company over the years, stating that it was an honor to work with the software engineer.
