Cardano News Update – Charles Hoskinson’s participation at the Davos World Economic Forum 2020 seems to be paying off. During the event, new partnerships were made, and existing collaborations were strengthened. Cardano already got two new partners during the first two days of the event.
Going by Cardano latest update on Youtube, Cardano announced that it has signed a partnership deal with ScanTrust. The collaboration is focused on developing a proof of concept for the rational packaging solutions of ScanTrust for the Cardano Connector, a blockchain tool for product originality and genuineness.

ScanTrust provides a copy-proof QR Code solution, which is utilized for supply chain tracking. Previously in 2019, SacnTrust procured a $42 million Series A round managed by Credit Suisse and Innogy Ventures. So far, ScanTrust’s technologies have a good record for been used to trace the supply chain and shield against copying by several companies. Most of ScanTrust’s customers are big Western companies like Unilever, ABINBev and Dow Chemicals who want to shield their brands in China. Also, the company has worked with Hyperledger.

Cardano News Update – Cardano Foundation supports Berkman Klein Center with Research grant
Cardano News – Cardano Foundation recently approved an application for a research grant from the Berkman Klein Center to “study blockchain governance”. Cardano’s partnership with the Berkman Klein Center of the prominent Harvard University was the talk of the blockchain sphere last year. The research is projected “to benefit Cardano as well as the entire crypto ecosystem”.

“Glad to hear that Harvard University will be conducting governance research that we can use for Cardano’s Voltaire release. Voting, improvement proposals and decentralized control are tremendous topics for research.”

Mamuka Bakhtadze, the Ex-Prime Minister of Georgia, who also attended the event, stated on Twitter that Georgia will be the first country to introduce the blockchain in the civil service and a test project in the education system supported by IOHK.
