The price of Litecoin opened trade at the $34.95 area more than 24-hours ago. It reportedly remained in this zone during the initial hours of trade on the said date. The price of the coin escalated further above the $40 level until 18:00 UTC. Before trade closed, the price of LTC had moved closer above the $40 level. Today, the value of the coin went on to form a dip near the $38 area. It was at this point that the bulls re-took the market and pushed it up once more. The price of LTC went as high as the $43 area before pulling back to the $41 area where it found support. At press time Litecoin price was trading at $41.53. The technical indicators for LTC/USD show mixed signals regarding the coin’s upcoming price momentum. While LTC price is above the 200- EMA, the simple moving averages are bullish zone as well. Litecoin traded with the ranges of $36.859 to $38.177 at some point during the past 24-hours. This was before the bulls took over at the $38 support. In the last week, Litecoin’s value has stagnated after moving by only 1.9%. The trade volume of Litecoin was $2.945 billion in the last 24-hours to press time. The coin has traded within the ranges of $34.8391 to the $41.1310 area in the least 24-hours. At its current price, Litecoin remains down by 91.20% from its all-time high set in 2017, December 12.
