  • Cardano’s Creator, Charles Hoskinson Says Cardano Will Eclipse Ethereum 2.0 After the Cardano Shelley Mainnet Launch
  • Cardano Surges Against The USD Gaining Crossing the Resistance at $0.0533 Level

Cardano News Today – Everyone in the cryptocurrency community knows that the Cardano development team has been working day and night to launch Cardano Shelley on the blockchain’s mainnet. The Cardano Shelley mainnet launch is scheduled to take place this year unfailingly. The creator of Cardano, Charles Hoskinson has said many great things about the upcoming Shelley mainnet launch. Recently, he said that the Cardano blockchain is going to have everything that Ethereum 2.0 has to offer and more.

Cardano News Today – Cardano Shelley Has Everything Ethereum 2.0 And More

Ethereum has delayed the release of the Ethereum 2.0 upgrade several times. Ethereum founders have released all the proposals of this new upgrade which is said to be the final destination for the blockchain. However, there is still the problem of consensus among Ethereum developers. If they don’t put their differences aside and come to a compromise soon, the launch of ETH 2.0 will be delayed more giving Cardano the perfect opportunity to eclipse Ethereum.

During an interview with Crypto Adapter, Hoskinson said that Cardano is more superior to Ethereum and it isn’t superfluous either. He said that all the core protocols of Ethereum are already on the same level on Ethereum and may even be on a higher level. In his words;

“All core protocols of Cardano are better than what Ethereum 2.0 will be once it is finished in every category. We’re more Byzantine resistant, we have explicit blockchain-based governance which Ethereum hasn’t even touched at all, we have a much better idea of how to update the system, we have a significantly better network design than everything that they’ve proposed in 2.0 and our consensus protocol is better.”

Thanks to the launch of the Hydra protocol last month, the Cardano blockchain can process up to a million transactions per second. This is something that the Ethereum blockchain hasn’t been able to achieve even with the upcoming Ethereum 2.0 launch. Vitalik Buterin has confirmed that Ethereum will not be able to reach this performance level. Hoskinson said that he doubts if Ethereum’s transition from PoW to PoS will be done successfully this year. In his words;

“Why even the fight? Just go straight to Proof-of-Stake, unless you don’t think it’s gonna be six months. It’s gonna be two years, three years and you just solve your difficulty bomb, you just solve your issues today.”

In other news, the Cardano ADA token has made significant progress over the last few days. This morning, the token surged significantly moving from the $0.0500 level to the $0.0533 Level with the next resistance at $0.0520. At the time of writing, the price of the token was $0.053657. It was up by 4.62% against the USD and up by 3.76% against the price of Bitcoin. The trading volume over a 24 hour period is $171,895,160 and the market capitalization is $1,391,164,726.
