The latest development within the Litecoin Blockchain was announced by David Schwartz, the project’s director. The Litecoin foundation also gave further announcements about the native Blockchain network of the number seven largest digital asset by market cap. The most paramount one of those announcements is the report that the network is set to launch an upgraded version of the MimbleWimble solution. The network’s chiefs say this upgraded version of MimbleWimble will enhance Litecoin’s privacy commitments even better.

The announcement came when the entire Litecoin community has been awaiting the announcement of the upgraded version of Litecoin’s MimbleWimble solution. Per the reports, the upgraded version of the above-mentioned software would improve the scalability and privacy of the Network. Schwartz, while making this announcement, stated that in the last 48-hours, no less than 87,000 addresses signed up to the Litecoin network. Schwartz has worked as a project manager at the Litecoin Foundation since September 2019. Along with his position as the project manager, Schwartz is also running his company. He is the CEO of his firm Cornerstone Global Management, LLC. Cornerstone is a crypto-based firm that deals with employee pay, crypto education, and influencer management. In early 2019, the company collaborated with the Litecoin Foundation. The goal of the partnership was to allow Cornerstone to use the Litecoin wallet and the Loafwaller for its employee payment scheme.

Lee also talked about how hackers have been able to counterfeit N number of coins. He said they have been able to achieve this because of the hidden inflation. The Litecoin chief assured the community that if the Network faces this type of risk that his team would look take the matter seriously and ensure that it managed properly. Lee also remarked that for now only MimbleWimble’s extension block would be able to utilize the latest privacy features. This means it won’t affect Litecoin’s layer. While praising Litecoin’s speed, Lee said Litecoin has been perfect since creation.
