eToro Lists Cardano (ADA) Making it the 11th Cryptocurrency to be Traded on eToro 


eToro is gradually adding more tokens to its social trading platform with Cardona (ADA) as the latest addition to the list. According to the company, Cardano (ADA) is the latest cryptocurrency to be added to its ever growing list of cryptocurrencies according to announcement the company made on its official blog. Users can now invest and trade ADA on the eToro platform.

The addition of Cardano makes the sum of all cryptocurrencies on the platform 11. Other coins include Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Dash, Ripple, Litecoin, Ethereum

Classic, Neo, and Stellar Lumens. The platform also supports pairing euros with Bitcoin and Ethereum directly.

After getting a $100 million investment round, eToro made an announcement of its plans to expand its horizon in the United States and develope a new cryptocurrency desk later in the year. It also mentioned that it is making plans to develop a mobile cryptocurrency wallet that users can use for storing digital assets.

During an interview at the TNW conference on May 2018, the CEO of eToro, Yoni Assia said that the company is going to add more digital currencies in the coming months. Since the announcement was made, Cardano is the first digital currency to be listed on the platform.

Just like Ethereum, Cardano is developing a blockchain solution to support decentralized applications and smart contracts. As the eight largest cryptocurrency in the market, Cardano has a market capitalization of $4 billion.

Cardano had announced a deal with Ethiopia’s Science and Technology Ministry earlier in the year. The deal was meant to help developers apply blockchain technology to agriculture.
