The news of Ethereum Classic (ETC) being added to Coinbase – one of the largest digital currency trading platforms in the world – has been trending in the crypto world for quite some time. Recently, the exchange announced that they have launched ETC/BTC, ETC/USD, and ETC/EUR trading on Coinbase Pro.
Coinbase Twitter Post
On the Twitter account of the exchange, it was announced that the above-listed order books are now available in full trading mode. Stating that market, stop orders, and limit are all now available across all Ethereum Classic (ETC) trading pairs.
The digital currency trading platform had previously released a statement that they would add the digital currency to Coinbase Pro – an individual trading platform – and then later added to Coinbase.com. The exchange said that Ethereum Classic will find its way to the main platform after it gains enough liquidity on Coinbase Pro.
Coinbase is expecting to gain the required liquidity within two to three weeks after making it available for full trading. Coinbase had launched the digital currency in 4 stages, which are trading only, post only, limit only, and full trading – which is the last phase.
They also stated that if the market of the digital currency fails to complete their orderly and healthy assessment, they’d either suspend the digital currency from their platform completely or extend the time frame of one particular stage.
The implementation of the “full trade” service indicates that the digital currency has completed their assessment successfully.
Also, the digital currency got a massive support from Bittrex earlier this week. Bittrex – a digital currency trading platform – announced that they would start a USD market for ETC and XRP on their platform to provide a fast, secure, and convenient trading option for their customers.
