Ralf Rottmann Says the Foundation of IOTA (MIOTA) Has Arrived At a MoU

Recently, one of the members of the Board of Directors of the IOTA Foundation – Ralf Rottmann said that the IOTA Foundation has arrived at a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and all the board members have signed the MoU.

The MoU was created as a result of the recent happening in the Foundation. On the 8th of August, the IOTA (MIOTA) Foundation was at a center stage in the crypto industry as a heated discussion between the IOTA Foundation Board of Directors and the Founder of IOTA (MIOTA) was leaked to the press.

The Leaked Discussion of the IOTA Foundation

The leaked chat conversation of the Foundation revolves around Dominik Schiener – a member of the board – and Sergey Ivancheglo – the co-founder of IOTA (MIOTA). Ivancheglo started the meeting by saying he no longer trusts Dominik Schiener (his co-partner) and he wants Dominik to resign from the Board of Directors.

The rest of the conversation covered details of how the co-founder wants Dominik Schiener to leave the Board of Directors, and the discussion evolved into a heated debate to which Dominik said that he will not leave the board without a fight.

When the board members of the Foundation realized that the chat-log of their conversation had gone viral, they released an official statement regarding the leak.

Clarification from the Founders and Board Member of the IOTA Foundation

The clarification from the board and founder was tweeted via the official Twitter handle of the blockchain project and its state “Anyone who has been through a heavy growth phase similar to that of the IOTA Foundation, knows that is an important emotional journey involved.” They went ahead to talk about the bigger picture and the intention of the Foundation to create a larger and more diverse board.
