In a recent tweet, Justin Sun – the CEO and co-founder of the Tron (TRX) Foundation – marked a new milestone for the blockchain project as he cited that the accounts on the Mainnet of Tron (TRX) had exceeded those on the blockchain of EOS – a blockchain platform older than Tron.
The Accounts on the Mainnet of Tron (TRX) vs. Those on EOS
According to the stat on Trxplorer, there are 305,313 accounts on the Mainnet of Tron (TRX) at the time of writing. On the other hand, according to the stat on eoslfalre.io, the total number of accounts on the EOS network is 300,296 at the time of writing. The accounts on the Mainnet of Tron (TRX) clearly exceed those on EOS.
GoSeedit on Telegram and Twitter
One of the potential reasons for the enormous increase in the number of accounts on the Mainnet of Tron (TRX) is the GoSeedit tipping feature that was recently introduced on both Telegram and Twitter. This feature allows users on both social media platforms to tip other users small amounts of TRX tokens.
This tipping feature has been the talk on the social media platforms, and it has been tagged “#OperationTronStorm. It also lets users tip their favorite celebs on the platform, further increasing the popularity and awareness of Tron (TRX).
Accounts on Tron Mainnet Have Increased Significantly Since the Launch of GoSeedit
The GoSeedit TRX tipping platform went live on August 16th. On the day it went live, the total number of accounts on the network were 66,206. Comparing it to the present digits which stands at 305,313 accounts, there is an increase of more than 360 percent since the GoSeedit platform for tipping TRX went live.
The Tron Foundation has been doing all its best lately to achieve its aim of decentralizing the web. The blockchain project has a lot of partnerships and developments around it, and it still working hard to create more awareness for the digital currency and its underlying technology.
