Members of IOTA (MIOTA) Hispano – a news blog dedicated to IOTA (MIOTA) for the community of Hispanic – have taken it upon themselves to spread the word about IOTA (MIOTA) to all the communities in Argentina, beginning in Patagonia – a province situated in South Argentina.
Tangle Patagonia
The project led by Content Writer and Coordinator for IOTA Hispano, Gabriela Jara, is “Tangle Patagonia.” Gabriella Jara is working with fellow digital currency enthusiast – Sol Hilgemberg. Their objective is to host workshops and meetups in all regions of the Latin American country to inform people about the ledger, the goals of the startup, its characteristics, developments and such.

As Jara commented on the blog post she wrote about it, her goal became promoting IOTA (MIOTA) in her country, starting from her region, after she discovered the mission of the blockchain project and later joined the IOTA (MIOTA) Evangelist Network. In the first meetup Jara attended as the Tangle Patagonia project, she had the opportunity to share a mic with Prof. Serguei Popov – the writer of IOTA (MIOTA) Whitepaper and the co-founder of IOTA (MIOTA) – at the first IOTA (MIOTA) Meetup that took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina back in July.
The second meetup took place on August 23rd in Bariloche. According to the article, over thirty attendees enjoyed the event that was put together with the support of the Fab Lab – a governmental program that is aimed at developing and promoting innovative tech projects. She said that since then, they have been contacted by a lot of people that want to know more about the blockchain startup.
In response to the good did of Jara, the IOTA (MIOTA) Foundation tweeted, “the IOTA (MIOTA) Foundation appreciates your devotion. The developments in Argentina that you guys are responsible for are enormous.”
In the digital currency space, with more awareness comes more adoption, and an increase in adoption is one of the major factors that contribute to the increase in the value of a digital currency. As the awareness of the digital currency increases, its value is expected to do the same in the near future as reported by smarttest.wpmudev.host.
