When delivering his keynote speech, he talked about the significance of digital currency adoption and why it is extremely important to increase the usage of digital currencies as money. Lee encouraged Litecoin (LTC) to promote the real-life use cases of the digital currency among ordinary people after describing the digital currency as the people’s money or decentralized money.
Lee wants the Litecoin (LTC) community to look beyond the speculation for the digital currency, adding that Litecoin (LTC) is built as sound money. He also said that it might take a whole lot of time for people to recognize the value of digital currencies in terms of monitory freedom.
Also, the Foundation talked about one of the major strength of the digital currency – its speed. To demonstrate the efficiency and speed of Litecoin (LTC) transactions, the Foundation carried out Litecoin Network stress-test. The Foundation sent 0.1 LTC to 1,236 Litecoin addresses through batch technology – a technology that significantly reduces transaction fees.
