Tulsi Gabbard, a LTC and ETH investor who also happens to be an American Congresswoman that is planning to run for president, recently called out the current banking system. She said that the system is broken and needs to be fixed. Keep in mind that Gabbard is the first Samoan-American and Hindu congress member in America. During a routine filing in 2018, she disclosed that she has some ETH and LTC in her possession.

Gabbard Calls Out Banks And The US Government

Currently, Gabbard serves as the representative of the Hawaii second congressional district. She has held this seat since 2013. She has always been a critic of the Trump administration. On Friday, she declared her interest in contesting in the 2020 presidential election. She hasn’t held back from expressing her feelings about the current state of the US government. She believes that the Trump administration is complicit in enabling corruption by servicing mortgage industries and banks who are more concerned about profit than about the people. She refers to this as greed and blatant corruption.

On Twitter, she posted:“More than 800,000 Americans are waiting to work without pay but the current administration is bowing to lobbyists in mortgage industries. The greed and blatant corruption of this administration that puts the centralized institutions above the warfare of the people is the root cause of the problems in this broken system.”

On Friday, during CNN’s Van Jones show, Gabbard was asked if there was a possibility that she will be running for presidency in the year 2020. In reply, the Iraq war veteran who is serving on the House of Foreign affairs, said:

“I’ve decided that I’ll be running for presidency in 2020. I’ll be officially declaring my intentions next week. There is one major problem that is the root of the rest and this is the issue of peace and war.”
She said that the key areas she would like to address are climate change, health care access, global conflict and criminal justice reforms.

In February 2016, Gabbard resigned from the Democratic National Committee and went ahead to endorse Bernie Sanders the Vermont Senator. She has always been known for her controversial approach to matters related to foreign policy. In 2017, she suggested that the US should focus its energy on getting rid of Islamic groups in Syria rather than focusing on getting rid of Bashar Assad.

Gabbard To Face Elizabeth Warren

Because of her interest in cryptocurrencies, there is the possibility that she’s going to have a face off with her anti-crypto democratic colleague, Elizabeth Warren. Warren is a Massachusetts senator who declared her intentions of running for presidency on New Year’s Eve.

In September 2018, Gabbard appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience where she talked about her opinion on global affairs, the failure of United States policies in the middle east, military-industrial complexities, and the current situation of the United States.

When she filed her taxes, Gabbard listed cryptocurrency assets worth $1000 and $15,000. She said that she bought them in December 2017 during the price hike. Since then, the total market capitalization of the industry has fallen significantly. Whether or not Gabbard has sold her cryptocurrency holdings is unclear.
