Bitcoin BTC / USD Price Today March 8, 2019
In the last 24 hours, bitcoin has hovered around $3,900 for the most part. Though hourly charts within the days show conflicting micro-trends, the price BTC seems to have steadied at least for the short-term.
At the time of writing, BTC is trading at $3,921 after it touched a high of 3,939 and low of 3,894 in the preceding hours. The 24-hour trading volume has stayed almost static after the last surge of activity took it from around $7 billion to over 9.5 billion where it is currently.
One analyst predicts bitcoin will break the resistance at $4,200 and reach as high as 4,400 in the short term. That would mean a 13% rise from today’s price, this was the approximately the same growth BTC managed in February which was its best month in a long while. In the meantime, BTC has managed less than 1% rise in the last 2 days.

Ethereum ETH / USD Price Today March 8, 2019
The impact of Constantinople upgrade has begun to show, just not in Ether price which has remained unmoved by the upgrade which launched after notable delays. If anything ETH is dictated by the general crypto market trend and has managed moderate gains since its remarkable surge in February.
At $137, ETH has remained where it was by this time yesterday. The same can be said of a lot of top cryptocurrencies, which like Bitcoin are showing signs of a temporary price stability. Activity around ETH dropped slightly since yesterday as it posts a 24-hour trading volume of $4.2 billion. Its market cap, of course, remains unchanged in this period. On a micro-analysis, there’s been almost no change in the last two hours of trading.

Ripple (XRP) is currently trading at $0.313 to the USD having dropped from a daily high of $0.319. It is down about 1% from yesterday’s price at this time. Its coin market cap stands at just over $13 billion and trading volume down by $50 million worth of trades.

Weekly and Hourly Cryptocurrency Analysis
Most top cryptocurrencies are gaining slightly in the hourly price analysis for the last two hours. This could translate into a market surge during the day after markets have slowed in the last two days.
Bitcoin, Stellar, and Moreno are all up 2% from last 7 days while LTC is a clear leader with a 20% gain during the same period. BNB still maintains its place above Tether USD for now.
