Cryptocurrency news today has been focused on the Bitcoin bull run but yesterday, Coinbase announced that it has decided to make Stellar (XLM) compatible with the Coinbase Wallet on Android and iOS devices. With the help of this positive news and Bitcoin bull run, the XLM token current price is also green on CoinMarketCap.
Coinbase announced that the Coinbase Wallet app for Android and iOS devices will accept Stellar Lumens XLM after the next update. This is another win for the Stellar development foundation. The Coinbase Wallet app is a non-custodial, user-controlled wallet. It isn’t the same as Coinbase.com, the website. To use the Coinbase Wallet, you don’t need to have a Coinbase Customer account. All you need is an android or iOS device and you’ll be able to download the wallet from any part of the world. This announcement comes a few weeks after Coinbase Pro announced support for Stellar (XLM) and a few days after Coinbase announced that it would be hosting a Stellar airdrop.
In a blog post on the official Coinbase website, the company stated;
“To activate your XLM wallet — all you need to do is tap ‘Receive’ on the main wallet tab and select XLM. The Stellar network requires that all wallets have a minimum balance of 1 Lumen, so please fund your account with at least 1 Lumen.”

Coinbase Will Pay You $50 For Just Learning About Stellar Lumens (XLM)
According to the news of investinblockchain; Coinbase, the popular US-based cryptocurrency exchange known for their Coinbase Custody services and beginner-friendly interface, has announced their largest Coinbase Earn giveaway yet.
Revealed in a Coinbase blog post, the crypto exchange will give away 1 billion Stellar Lumens (XLM) (about $106 million) to users who study the Stellar protocol via the Coinbase Earn educational program.
Initially, the Stellar Lumens educational program will only be open to US customers, who can receive up to $50 for using the program to study the Stellar protocol.
