The Cardano Foundation in partnership with Input Output HK (IOHK) and EMURGO, Cardano’s ecosystem partners will support initiatives and programs designed to improve and push the development of blockchain technology and digital currency. The foundation will specifically target, support and boost research geared towards security and vulnerabilities found in the blockchain industry. The efforts that have captured the support of the Cardano Foundation include projects being developed by IOHK and EMURGO. Another program supported by the Foundation is the Digital Currency Initiative of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology tasked with studying blockchain technology.
Cardano is a research-driven blockchain network that was formed out of a scientific philosophical approach. It is fully open-source and it is a decentralized public blockchain. Cardano development team is made up of a collective of researchers and engineers. Cardano is also the first proof of stake platform developed from leading academics of the world who subject themselves to review from their academic peers.
IOHK Research has about 30 published academic papers under their belt and their research has been presented at leading international conferences. As the merge between academics and businessmen grows from the expansion of the cryptocurrency market, Cardano believes that the demand for research on blockchain technology from an academic perspective will also increase. Cardano hopes to be the leading go-to when that time approaches. Cardano’s goal is also to blaze a trail through greater academic research that will enable the adoption of the blockchain industry by the masses.
With these goals in mind, EMURGO Academy, which is Bangalore based, is set to train developers and help create blockchain experts that will meet the rising demand for blockchain developers, which will also provide economic empowerment for individuals and the nation. There are also plans to set up the academy in Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Pune. These academies will also train students and offer blockchain-related curriculum to institutes and enterprises.
Cardano News Today – Cardano Latest Update – Cardano Partners IOHK and EMURGO Set To Expand Their Portfolio
IOHK regularly provides Haskell training and workshops at various centers around the world. Their latest training will be taking place in Ethiopia, Greece, and Barbados. In July of this year, IOHK published an ebook on Plutus, a smart contract language. There are also further plans to publish more educational material in the future. MIT’s Digital Currency Initiative was designed with support from Cardano Foundation to push the development of blockchain technology and also drive forward the development of the digital currency.
