Recently, the Tron Foundation announced the addition of 8 new decentralized apps to the Tron network. The Foundation made this announcement via a tweet. The announcement revealed that the number of Tron Dapps have reached 561 with eight new Dapps.

Tron Dapp Weekly Report Revealed 30% Increase in Transaction Time and Volume – Tron News Today – Cryptocurrency News Update
According to the Tron Dapp weekly report, which was released on Aug. 23, the eight new Dapps were added to the network last week. The report also has it that there is an increase of 30% in terms of transaction volume and time, than the previous week. The total number of smart contracts on the network has also increased enormously. According to the report, the smart contracts on the Tron network has reached 1,371.

According to data from Dapp Review, the transaction volume of Tron Dapps is another factor that greatly contributes to its dominance in the Dapp space. Data from Dapp Review shows that Tron has seen a 7-day transaction volume of 102.8 million. Whereas, the transaction volume on Ethereum and EOS over the past seven days are 52.8 million and 53 million respectively. Nevertheless, at the time of writing, EOS is at the top of the table in the Dapp space in terms of transactions and users. The total users on the EOS network are 980,267. Whereas, Tron has only recorded 238,910, Ethereum is the least among them, with just 130,122 users in the last seven days.
EOS also accounts for the highest transactions, 25.3 million. Tron (TRX) is at the second position with 11.2 million over the past seven days. Whereas, Ethereum is behind by a huge margin; it has recorded only 381,320 transactions.
