Tron News Today – Tron continues to grow as more Dapps are being added to the network. The competition in the Dapp space is very tough, and Tron is not backing out. Over the past couple of months, the Singapore-based Tron Foundation has been at the top of the competition in the Dapp space. The major rivals of Tron are EOS and Ethereum. In order to retain supremacy over its rivals, the Tron Foundation has released several developments over the past months. However, over the past few days, Tron rivals’ numbers have been increasing.
Tron Network Is Lagging Behind As EOS and Ethereum Post Higher Numbers
Not long ago, the Tron Foundation launched the Mainnet for Sun Network V1.0. Nevertheless, recent DApp report shows that the Tron network is lagging behind, as EOS and Ethereum are posting higher numbers. Data from DApp revealed that over the past seven days, Ethereum recorded the highest volume of $64.3 million. Whereas, Tron recorded $46.5 million and EOS recorded $39.9 million.

When it comes to daily active users and transactions, EOS was at the top of the chart with over 27 million transactions and 718,047 active users over the past seven days. Whereas, Tron recorded 5.6 million transactions and 226,010 active users over the past seven days. Ethereum was only able to record 307,708 transactions and 89,483 active users over the past week.
The CEO of the Tron Foundation – Justin Sun – shared the weekly DApp report with the community on Twitter. He also talked about other developments in the decentralized app space.

Tron Welcomes Six News DApps to Its Network
According to the weekly Dapp report, six new decentralized applications were added to the Tron network. The addition of these new Dapps has increased the total number of Dapps on the Tron network to 584. Irrespective of Tron’s position in the Dapp space, the network saw a personal growth with an increase of more than 25 percent in daily active users. The number of transactions on the network also increased by 28 percent. The transaction volume on the network has also surged by 24 percent when compared to the volume last week.
However, the growth and development of Tron in the Dapp space had no effect on its position on CoinMarketCap. At the press time, Tron (TRX) is still holding the 14th position on the list of top digital currencies by market cap, according to CoinMarketCap. Tron (TRX) is currently trading at $0.01372 after an increase of about six percent over the past day. The current market cap of Tron is $915.37 million and its trade volume over the past day is $687.53 million.
