Apple Does Not Have Any Intention to Create Its Own Crypto
Apple – a tech giant – does not have any intention to create its own digital currency. The CEO of Apple – Tim Cook – recently confirmed this when he spoke to Les Echos – a French financial newspaper. When they asked Cook about the prospect of the firm launching its own currency, he said that he was not “comfortable with the idea that a private group creates a competing currency.” There were speculations about the tech giant creating its own digital currency. Cook quashes all the news about Apple launching a digital currency during the interview. The CEO of Apple did not stop there; he also took a jibe at the upcoming Libra project of Facebook.

Cook did not stop at saying that Apple is not planning to launch any digital currency. He went ahead to take a jibe at the forthcoming Libra Project of Facebook. He went on to firmly say that a private firm does not have to seek to gain power in this matter. The CEO backed concerns around Facebook’s coin raised by several regulators all over the world, saying that:
